Over the past few months, Kate (What Katy Said) and I have both agreed that as mums we find it hard to motivate ourselves to get out of the house and do something everyday. It is so easy to slip into a rut and hide away at home. We decided that we wanted to help inspire others to have happy days by creating this linky.
We want you to make the most out of every day, whether that be going to the park, making forts in the living room or cuddling on the sofa reading books. We also want more of you to take time for yourselves – you need a bit of care and attention too!
How does it work?
We have had a long think about how we can help you make the best of your days and we came up with these headings for our weekly #happydays linky:
Out and about– We want you to get out of the house, whether that be to the park, to baby groups or to visit a friend. Getting out of the house always makes you feel better!
Fun at home– Sometimes it isn’t possible to get out of the house every day. It is tempting to curl up on the sofa but we want you to make the best of being at home. Can you inspire others with activities you do at home?
Time for me– This is very important! Take time for yourself. Do something that makes you happy, something of your own.
My happiest moment– What happened this week that made you smile, made you happy?
Next week I would like to try– Share something you would like to do next week.
That is it! Kate and I will be joining in every week too, as whether you are a new mum or have been a parent for a while it can still be hard to find the motivation to make the best out of every day.
