If you follow Jasmine’s OOTD posts (if not, why not?!) then you’ll have seen me mention that she’s starting to outgrow her 0-3 clothes *sob* so I’ve decided to get ahead of the curve and buy some 3-6 month summer bits. We have a holiday coming up and I have enough to plan without having to panic buy baby clothes because nothing fits her. I thought I would try and find some clothes from somewhere other than my usual go-to shops (mainly Boots, Next and Sainsburys) so I had a quick look on ASDA’s website. I was pleasantly surprised by their baby girl clothes (and the boys too!) so I found myself frantically adding things to my shopping basket. I think I would’ve ended up with even more had it not been for some of the items being out of stock in the right size.
One of my favourite colours to dress Jasmine in is Yellow. I think it really suits her so quite a few of the items are yellow or have yellow on them. I like buying outfit sets and key items that all go together as that way you’re able to mix and match allowing baby to get more wear out of them.
I thought the best way to show you my Asda baby haul items was to dress my ever-willing model in them…
(I’ve added links to the items where possible but some of the items are already out of stock and I could no longer find them on the website!)
3 pack of long sleeved tops
All in all, I spent £27.50 which I think is very reasonable when you consider how many items I got for that. As you can tell by the pictures, Jasmine still has quite a bit of growing room (particularly with the long sleeved tops) so they should last her most, if not all, of the summer. I love that I can mix and match the t-shirts with the shorts that came as part of the sets, it makes dressing Jasmine really easy.
The clothes themselves are good quality, soft material and lightweight so perfect for hot days. When it’s really sweltering we tend to just leave Jasmine in a vest, hence why I’ve invested in pack of 7. They have lovely simple designs and I chose pink to avoid the “Isn’t he gorgeous!” comments which are usually par for the course if Jasmine’s in a plain vest! (To be fair, even I think she looks like a little boy sometimes!)
Have you found any gorgeous baby clothes in shops that you’d least expect to? I think there’s still room for a few more summer outfits in Jasmine’s wardrobe. ;)
